Join Diane Twedell DNP, RN, CENP as she discusses the American Organization of Nurse Leaders (AONL) certifications for Certified Nurse Manager Leader (CNML) and Certified Executive Nurse Practice (CENP). 

Content will cover the following major topics: 

  • Experience and educational requirements to sit for the exams.
  • Competencies and content areas that the exams are built upon. 
  • Review percent of content in each category of the exam and identify areas to focus preparation.
  • Preparation for exam and studying tips/tricks.
  • Test taking tips/tricks.  

ABOUT THE PRESENTER:


Diane M. Twedell, D.N.P., M.S., R.N., CENP

Diane Twedell is a member of nursing administration currently working with the Mayo Clinic Care Network due diligence review process, the CNO Group and health care consulting for nursing.

Diane has been employed at Mayo Clinic for over thirty two years with experience in nursing practice, education, and administration.   Her progressive leadership roles have spanned both the academic and community practices.  Since 2012, Diane has served as the Chief Nursing Officer of the Mayo Clinic Health System’s Southeast Minnesota Region.   Diane has significant experience presenting nationally and internationally on practice and leadership issues, has published extensively, and has represented Mayo Clinic at the state legislature on many nursing related health policy issues.  

Diane has a Doctor of Nursing Practice degree from Rush University in Chicago and a Masters of Nursing degree from the University of Minnesota.  She is an assistant professor of nursing at Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science, and actively serves on several professional organizations including the American Organization for Nursing Leadership and Minnesota Organization of Leaders in Nursing.

This webinar will be recorded and slides will be provided. 

CONTINUING EDUCATION CREDITS:

This activity has been designed to meet the Minnesota Board of Nursing continuing education requirements. However, the nurse is responsible for determining whether this activity meets the requirements for acceptable continuing education.  

To receive a certificate of completion for one contact hour, each nurse must complete the electronic evaluation at the conclusion of the webinar, by the stated deadline. The nurse must attend the webinar in full. Partial credits will not be given.
