District G Member Event:

Please join us for a District G member meeting and educational session titled, Hospital and Healthcare Financing for Nurse Leaders.

In this one hour class we will discuss the state of healthcare finance from a global, national and local perspective.  We will discuss how the US compares with other countries and the healthcare portion of the nation’s GDP.  We will explore the role of federal and state regulators and payers such as CMS and all of this will be discussed from within the context of the shift from paying for healthcare based upon volume of services provided to a value-based system of payment.  We will also share with the group MOLN’s plan for offering more finance information to our members ranging from finance policy to specific calculation of FTE’s, direct and indirect nursing costs and units of service.

We will finish the evening with a chance to network with your fellow members of District G.
