Presented By: Len Robinson, MS, CRNA, APRN, CLL, is a practicing Nurse Anesthetist, Certified Master Level Life-Coach, U.S. Army Veteran, Cancer Survivor, Inventor, Entrepreneur, Speaker, and President/Life Coach for Project Delta, Inc., a Veteran Service Dog Program.
Len’s passionate about encouraging health care workers to reinvigorate a love of career and life. Too many nurses are finding it difficult to deliver the quality, humane, and compassionate care that attracted them to the profession. After all, we are in the “Compassion Business.” Something has happened to change the degree to which we are able to “deliver” compassion. What’s getting in the way and what are the consequences?
Len has researched and developed strategies to recover from and prevent “burnout” as well as to increase engagement. His strategy involves attacking the disengagement and burnout crisis on two fronts. That is, first, by preparing nurse leadership to expand their role from a supervisory orientation to thoughtful mentor and coach. Nurse leadership willing to change the status quo and incorporate a new paradigm allowing their staff to thrive and simply not survive will become the model in the future. Additionally, Len can provide bedside nurses a mindset shift and skill-set to not only thrive in the workplace, but also to feel passionate about their work and achieve an overall state of well-being.
What to Expect:
This webinar will deliver a new awareness and prospective regarding the disengagement and turnover crisis facing many acute-care settings in the region.
