Government Affairs Committee (GAC)

This key committee keeps members informed and involved in public policy that relates to healthcare. With ever-changing healthcare needs and concerns, members can look to the GAC to keep them informed.

The focus of the committee is advocacy and influencing public policy. The charge of the committee is to identify key legislative agenda issues, develop position papers on key issue topics, and implement communication strategies to advance positions.

GAC is leading the initiative in sponsoring a Day on the Hill at the Minnesota Legislature to be informative for both members and students and an opportunity to interact with legislatures. Watch the event calendar for dates and details.

This is a vibrant and essential committee of MOLN. If you want to become more involved with public policy, contact the committee chair.
